Ex-Bull Watch

Gavin Mahon suffered his first relegation since slipping out of the League with the Bulls as Watford's exit from the Premiership was confirmed after their 1-1 draw with Man City.

Paul Parry was relegated to the bench as Cardiff's play-off hopes were finally extinguished in a loss to QPR. Two ex-Bulls are still in with a shout for the play-offs, with Michael McIndoe scoring twice but seeing his seventh placed Wolves side losing 3-2 to Birmingham and John Eustace starting as Stoke drew 1-1 with Hull, leaving the Potteries side a point short of sixth place.

Neil Mackenzie, now a regular starter for Scunthorpe, will get his hands on a League One winners medal if his team earn one more point from their last two matches after their 2-0 win over Tranmere.

The two unused subs at last season's play-off final met at Forest Green, with Danny Carey-Bertram scoring the first to leave Craig Mawson's Halifax still deep in trouble at the wrong end of the Conference. The Shaymen are a point inside the drop zone, but have a game in hand over most of their rivals.

Craig Stanley, restored to the Morecambe starting line up, saw his side virtually guarantee their place in the play-offs with a single goal victory over a Kidderminster side that gave a rare start to Brian Smikle.
