Allen may walk away from Dons

Martin Allen is being tipped to become manager of Leicester City according to the BBC.

Currently manager at MK Dons, Allen failed to take his club to the League Two play-off final after being knocked out by Shrewsbury Town.

The BBC say that Leicester have been given permission by MK Dons to speak to Martin Allen with regards to the vacant managerial position.

"Chairman Milan Mandaric will hold talks with Allen later this week as part of the recruitment process."

Meanwhile, Stuart McCall have finally been confirmed as the new Bradford City manager. The 43 year old former Everton and Rangers midfielder played over 400 times for the club in two seperate spells. Caretaker boss David Wetherall will revert to a playing role for next season.
