Bradford have sold Dean Windass to Hull for £150,000. The veteran striker would have been the highest paid player in League Two if he had stayed, earning £5,000 a week.

Barnet are chasing former England midfielder Ray Parlour, following his release from Hull. Parlour gained ten England caps but is expected to stay in the Championship. Stockport have announced a record breaking sponsorship deal with internet search engine Just Search. The two year deal will see the existing shirt sponsors shift to club sponsors to accomodate the new sponsors.

Bury have signed Steve Haslam from Halifax on a free transfer. The former Sheff Weds defender has signed a two year deal. Scarboro are still in limbo after the local council delayed a decision that could save the club. The council are to vote again on lifting covenants barring the sale of their existing ground, but have delayed the decision after deciding they did not have time to consult the taxpayers. The club face an already delayed winding up order tomorrow.

The Conference will remain the Conference after the FA vetoed plans to drop the name altogether. The BlueSq Premier will now be officially called the BlueSq Conference Premier.
