Carlisle have loaned striker Kevin Gall to Lincoln until January. The former Yeovil man turned down Cheltenham for geographical reasons. Leigh's move to their new stadium has been delayed until November due to 'minor issues'. Theo Robinson scored for Watford as they beat Winchester City 2-0.

Cheltenham have been given a blunt description by Michael Boulding, who told the Bradford press: "No disrespect to Cheltenham, who are a very well run club, but the ambition levels are not there at all." The Robins are one of three clubs chasing Port Vale striker Marc Richards. The former Blackburn trainee scored only five times in 32 games for Vale last season but collected ten yellow cards. The BBC claims Vale will require a six figure fee for his services.

Hartlepool are understood to have suffered a significant financial loss after a 'centenary tournament' at the weekend attracted just 850 fans. Former Bulls loanee winger Joe Anyinsah started Saturday's friendly between current club Preston and Carlisle. Peterboro have signed Paul Coutts from Highland League side Cove Rangers for £25,000, and handed Fisher Athletic winger Shaun Batt a one year deal.
