Crewe have signed Swansea defender Dennis Lawrence on a three month loan spell. The former Wrexham man has not featured for the Swans in the League this season. Peterboro have loaned goalkeeper Mark Tyler to Watford for a month with the Hornets having their first two keepers injured.

Southend have extended the loan of Jean-Francois Christophe from Portsmouth for a second month after five appearances in his first month. Ex-Bull Neil Mackenzie's loan move to Kidderminster will not become permanent unless Kiddy can clear enough in their budget to afford him. Bradford have admitted they are in the dark over the future of their sponsorship deal with Bradford & Bingley now the bank has entered public hands.

Ex-Bull Nick Jordan has been charged with drink driving. The young keeper was announced as a summer signing then disappeared without trace with a variety of stories about his sudden departure buzzing about. He has been charged after a Sept 21st accident on the A30 in Devon and will face magistrates in a week.

Bristol Rovers have received a £125,000 windfall after former trainee Scott Sinclair made his tenth appearance for the Chelsea first team. They received an initial £200,000 in 2005 after he was poached by the Premier League side. Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt has put the club up for sale after five years, saying he has taken them as far as he can.
