Great Victory says Bury Boss

Bury manager Alan Knill was pleased with his side's 1-0 victory against Hereford United this afternoon.

"Great free kick, great victory but Hereford were always dangerous on the counter-attack," remarked Knill to his Official Site.

"They will be disappointed they didn't take something from it.

"It was a tough game but the good thing is that we've won but it wasn't good enough for some people."

Knill then revealed that former Hereford United keeper Wayne Brown had some abuse pointed at him today from an unlikely source.

"My goalkeeper goes out and we have two St John's Ambulance people telling him that he's the worst goalkeeper that's been here for whatever.

"It comes to something when the goalkeeper comes in and tells you I want to go.

"What the hell is going on here. It disgusting. They probably don't even pay for a ticket. It's just annoying.

"Sometimes you think well what is the point.

"Brown is a good keeper. He's been fanastic.

"All of a sudden someone has got an opinion and they want to voice it.

"I don't mind if they pay for the ticket.

"This is what you have to put with in football at the moment but it's pretty tiring. We are third in the league."
