Gillingham Boss Notes Bulls Loss

Hereford United travel to Kent tomorrow for Saturday's match at Gillingham fully aware that if they are to get anything from the game they must put on a much more spirited performance than that at Accrington last night.

As for Gillingham they are 6th in the table and hopeful of getting, at least, a play-off place if not automatic promotion.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler, whose side is unbeaten in their last 13 games, feels there could be a reaction from Hereford after last night's heavy defeat.

"Our aim is to get three points on Saturday," he told the Kent Times.

"Hereford got beat comfortably last night and that can go one of two ways. Either we can get an early goal and make it a difficult afternoon for them or they can take heart and frustrate us."

Meanwhile Hereford can be backed at 5/1 to win the game.
