News Round-Up

The three loan Bulls were all in action last night. Janos Kovacs played the full match as Luton drew 1-1 with Telford. Sean Canham played 78 minutes for Bath in their 1-1 draw at Cambridge, while Tyler Weir had a fruitless trip to Cornwall as Gloucester lost 3-2 at Truro in the FA Trophy. Northampton have announced that chief scout Peter Johnson has left the club. Johnson is the brother of former manager Gary.

Southend have suspended winger Jemal Johnson for 14 days while they review evidence after his arrest over a nightclub fracas last week. The American has made only one brief sub appearance for the first team in nearly three months. Stockport entered the bottom four of the Conference for the first time last night as they were thrashed 7-0 by Grimsby. Boss Jim Gannon has confirmed to fans that the wage bill needs to be slashed to keep the club running.

Wrexham have finally had their takeover approved by the FA. Their Supporters Trust now fully owns the club, while the local university owns the Racecourse ground. Former Bulls striker Wesley Ngo Baheng is now on trial with French side RC Strasbourg. The 22 year old has been without a club since leaving Edgar Street in March.

Plymouth have lost the services of defender Ben Gibson after parent club Middlesboro recalled the teenager. He played 16 times for the Pilgrims and was due to remain at the club until the end of January. Swindon have had their bid to get the loan signing of Paul Benson accepted thrown out. They say they hope to make the signing in January instead.
