Aldershot's Administrator has postponed Monday's planned CVA meeting as he irons out a number of details with the preferred bidder. The unnamed party will now present a CVA proposal to creditors on Thursday. The Supporters Trust is in talks with the bidder, but may yet launch their own bid for the club if donations from fans reach a sufficient level.

Luton Chief Executive Gary Sweet believes the new financial reporting Conference clubs will have to do this season will stop some of their rivals challenging their spending levels. Clubs have to submit break-even budgets and, with Luton having sold over 4,000 season tickets this summer, Sweet believes “It could mean that our main competitors can’t quite get away with some of the things they’ve done in the past.”

Around 150 Coventry fans gathered outside the Ricoh Arena yesterday to protest against the club's move away from the ground. The club's Supporters Trust met with Football League representatives on Thursday to discuss the club's plight. Kidderminster boss Steve Burr is to take two Australian players on trial when they start pre-season training. Burr has only seen the pair, both described as utility players, on DVD after receiving a tip-off.

Macclesfield Associate Director Andy Scott says the club was debt-free when it was relegated from League Two last summer. Scott told the local radio the club amassed £500,000 of debt over the past 12 months, leading to their current problems. Halifax have signed forwards Kevin Holsgrove and Josh Wilson from Conf North side Guiseley.
